Ganito pala ang pakiramdam
ng taong tuloy-tuloy na nalulunod.
Kahit anong pilit mong umahon,
ang pagkakataon ayaw talagang umayon.
Ganito pala ang pakiramdam
ng nawawasak ang puso paunti-unti –
nadudurog, nagpipira-piraso, natutusok
ng mga karayom hanggang tumigil sa pagtibok.
